Japanese restaurant Yamashiro will now be adding a farmer’s market to their menu…Every Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., you can get locally-grown fruits and vegetables, organic cheese and more while enjoying the restaurant’s hilltop view of Hollywood.  According to their website, the 1914-built historic landmark also boasts California’s oldest structure: The location’s pagoda is a 600-year-old edifice brought in from Japan.

There’s a brand new farmers market that offers shoppers a great selection of locally grown fruits and veggies, gourmet items, booze, Bulgarini Gelato and the most spectacular view of Los Angeles: the Yamashiro Garden Market, on the grounds of the restaurant perched high above Franklin. The market is held from 5pm to 9pm each Thursday. 1999 N. Sycamore Ave. [Racked Inbox]
